1. Make a copy of this Spreadsheet (File > Make a copy)

2. Complete the "Details" sheet with the Audit Type and any other information you have
2a. To create a custom Audit Type
1. Go to the Audit menu and "Add custom audit type"
2. Choose a Name for your audit type
3. Click "OK"
4. Make sure checkboxes in your audit type's column are selected for the checks you want to include

3. Complete the "Scope" sheet3a. Header explanations
Name of Page or Component - Common name for a page or component
URL - The URL for the page or component
Access Information - Credentials or steps needed to access the page or component

4. Go to the Audit menu and "Create checklists from Scope"4a. Permissions needed
Make sure to accept permissions requests
Feel free to review the code under Tools > Script editor

5. Complete "Issues," "Status,"and "Issue Tracker" columns for each page checklist5a. See the "Links to testing documentation" for help completing each check

5b. "Status" explanations
Check Incomplete - Testing has not started or hasn't been completed for this check
Pass - You are confident no issues of this type exist
Fail - At least one (1) issue of this type has been found
Notes / Other - Catch all for other statuses; provide details under "Issues"

5c. "Issue Tracker" is intended for links to tickets created in Bugzilla, Jira, or other issue trackers

6. Go to Audit menu and "Create All Issues sheet"6a. This should be done after completing Checklist sheets
